AT&T Stadium, which will be known as Dallas Stadium during the tournament, will host five group stage matches; Two for Group F, two for Group J and one for Group L. The first of the five matches in Arlington will take place on Sunday, June 14. FIFA will release a final match schedule for the group stage on Saturday.

The 48-team field, the largest in the competition’s history, will be divided into 12 groups of four during a draw held in Washington, D.C.

Mexico was drawn into a group with South Africa, South Korea and the UEFA Playoff D winner – Denmark, Ireland, Czech Republic or North Macedonia. El Tri will face South Africa in the tournament's opening match on June 11, 16 years after the two sides played the first game in the 2010 World Cup.
